We have no data protection officer. The rules in Art. 37(1) GDPR do not require one for us.

Visiting this site

Cloudflare, our hosting provider in the USA, handles your IP address, your browser and the address you open. It does this to show you the site and keep it safe.

• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in running a safe website.
• Cloudflare may set one cookie, __cf_bm, for up to 30 minutes, to block bots. It is needed for the site to work safely.
• We set no cookies of our own. We use no analytics and no tracking.
• We keep no visit logs of our own. Cloudflare keeps its logs under its own rules.

Emailing us

When you email us, we get your email address, your message and the email headers.

• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps you ask for before a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in answering you.
• We keep your emails while we talk with you, and 12 months after that. Then we delete them.
• If we sign a contract, Austrian law makes us keep business records for 7 years (§132 BAO).

Who gets your data

• Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting this site.
• Google LLC (USA): the mailbox that gets your emails.

Both companies are in the USA. Both are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Commission Decision (EU) 2023/1795).

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data. You can ask us to limit its use, to give it to you in a common format, or to stop using it (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Email contact@8network.io. We answer within one month.
